Re: What NBA Player do You Feel Sorry for Most?
Iverson, for not winning a championship, yet. For being one of the most underrated players in history, for never having a team around him, for playing in a city where the fans will turn on their own mother if she isn't perfect every single second of every single day (see McNabb about that, poor Donovan if he was in another city he'd be loving life right about now), etc. everything everyone else said about him.

Re: What NBA Player do You Feel Sorry for Most?
Penny Hardaway and Grant Hill.
I've been watching old Magic games recently, and Penny was so damn good, could do anything... and I mean anything. He was regarded as the NEXT player to lead the NBA to the new milllenium, the new Magic, the new Jordan... basically the new universally BEST player in the world.
Grant Hill came a few seasons later, and he too had his name dipped into the Legendary player bowl. He was the new All-round superstar, play make, score, rebound and just flat out play.
Today, where they should be counting their MVP trophies and maybe rings... they (mainly Penny), looking at retirement and/or begging teams to give them a chance... all because of unfortunate injuries.

Iverson - similar to KG, although I rank Garnett higher because he has been hampered by terrible teammates more throughout his career. Iverson has been unfairly villified by the media too. It will be a shame if he retires without a ring.
Kobe - he's damned if he does, damned if he doesn't
Retired:
Barkley, Stockton and every other great player to retire without a ring. Except for Karl Malone.

You have it right there, but take Kobe out.

Re: What NBA Player do You Feel Sorry for Most?
Feel bad for KG and Kobe since they are in the prime of their career and have no help. AT ALL
I feel bad that people still think tmac is a good player and continue to make excuses for him( although he is yet to win anything).. shouldnt 9 years in the league have answered a few questions if he is a winner or not.
I feel bad for the people who annoint Lebron as a god in the nba, but forget melo who HAS made the playoffs..

Re: What NBA Player do You Feel Sorry for Most?
I feel sorry for Jermaine O'Neal, who should be winning championships in San An, but since Larry "Legend" lied to him and told him Isiah would stay as the coach (before he fired him and replaced him with Rick Carlisle), he stayed in Indy. Jermaine plus Tim Duncan = championships for years to come.
I feel sorry for Kevin Garnett, whose career has been WASTED by Kevin McHale's pure stupidity (Joe Smith signing, smh).
I feel sorry for Ron Artest for the way he's been cheated out of a season and a half now.
