Stars are the only ones allowed to take those kinds of shots

I haven't seen anyone except McGrady, Allen and Arenas shoot threes from five feet behind the three point line and make them with some consistency.

Others may be capable of it, but they aren't as accurate with it, like Kobe.

Re: Players with the deepest range

I bet Dirk could shoot from half court like it was a free throw.

Jamal Crawford can also strike from deep. He's a master of the buzzer beating half court heave.

wade aint to shabby either.

i think tmacs ability to launch up from 30 ft away with a defender in his face and making it look like he is just 10-15 ft away is the most impressive.

After getting Monday night off and going through a light workout Tuesday, Rockets forward Tracy McGrady put himself through some impressive shooting drills, taking 300 to 400 shots while circling the
3-point arc and then circling back from 10 feet beyond the arc.
The worst he shot at any particular station, he said, was 5-of-10 from 35 feet.

"I was just getting a workout in," McGrady said. "It was kind of a light practice today. We weren't going up and down the court. Actually, I do that all the time at home, me and my trainer. After my workouts, I take a few steps back and
just shoot long distance
and see how deep my range really is."

Vince can do it also. ESPN even showed him during practice hitting those jumpers effortlessly.

Re: Players with the deepest range

Marbury has made a handful of jump shots from half court right before the end of a quarter. I mean real jump shots, not runners or heaves.

Re: Players with the deepest range

Van Exel used to show some unlimited range, especially in end of game situations. Anywhere over half court he'd throw it up. Probably still could, but I haven't seen him do it recently.

Re: Players with the deepest range

Mike Miller has some serious range as well.
