Yeah Kobe really should pay attention to AI and show up to his interviews dressed in army attire and shorts 5 sizes too big.

He is a joke. Always was and always will be. I hear the ratings to his show have been really poor so far.

I'm always quick to bash Kobe but I can tell from this interview that it was real. It looked like a couple times he was going to cry. His will to win is limitless. Props to Kobe.

The truth is this
1. Jerry buss- Laker owner has had several interviews on the radio ,and said he did not want to commit to a 5 yr 100 million dollar contract extension for shaq, when he was always injured and out of shape.
2 Buss- offered a 2 yr extension on top of the 2 remaining yrs shaq had left with the Lakers. Shaq turned it down. Buss did not want to comit for 5 yrs
Thats not Kobes job to answer that question. Buss already addressed that several times, and shaq fired back with insults at Dr Buss. Shaq was offered a extension and turned it down.
The colorodo subject about talking about shaq, should be off limits.

Re: Kobe on Quite Frankly coming up...
Another thing that I thought was interesting is his drive comes from his peers. He said when he was little the kids in Italy said he would never do good against the kids from America. Then he said his peers in the NBA started telling him he wouldn't be a good player without Shaq. It was nice to see that's where his competitive drive comes from, proving his peers wrong.

No one is saying that. Looks like Kobe is going to be taken it seriously, it should be an interesting matchup.

Re: Kobe on Quite Frankly coming up...
Even if Kobe was serious, nobody, will take him seriously anymore. That's just the way it's gonna be. I, personally, thought he told mostly the truth and was dead serious about his comments but your always gonna have the 'he's repairing his image' crud, etc. I really dont care for that. I'm just gonna enjoy watching this great basketball stud and that takes care of things for me. I dont care what happens off the court, I dont care what endorsements a player has, I just dont care. If Kobe can bring the Lakers back to where they were by himself (well that wont work!) then that's all I would care about. Winning heals everything no matter how much you dislike, or hate, a player of Kobe's caliber.. Kobe's still only 27, he's maturing, and his will to win games is like no other. Thats why, he's just getting better!
