Well, he has to actually play enough games first. That's the story of his career. We can only hope. But yes, I agree with your general premise, even though he's not a great on-the-ball defender.

No, it's pretty clear that Big Ben has always been a superior defender to Camby. This year or any other. See, thing is, he stays on the floor.

camby played 70 games last year. when ON the court, camby was better last year and certainly this year...

Camby wasn't a better defender than Wallace last year, that's for sure. This season maybe, but he's missed a third of the season.

Camby is probably the lead candidate, although I think Zo has a serious case. 21 minutes per game and averaging 3 blocks. That is 6 blocks in 42 minutes (which isn't possible for him at this stage of his career, I know). Dude is just eating up anything around the hoop. I would say he is the most feared defender in the league in the paint. Guys routinely change their shot drastically to accomodate.

Yeah I think he has a very good chance of winning it but he needs to stay healthy from here on and the Nuggs need to win a significant amt of games.
