Don't forget Sir Patchwork that Nash was an MVP type of player in Dallas. His last year in Dallas he was getting a lot of MVP talk until the Mavs fell off later in the season.
I completely understand where you are coming from with Nash, but Nash is a top 10 player in a lot of aspects. His shooting, passing, ball handling, leadership. Those are all huge qualities and Nash is arguably top 5 in all of those. He is the best PG in the league and not a lot of people will argue this anymore. Nash has always been this good, it just took him finding the Suns and D'Antoni to make things work. IMO he is a future HOF and a more exciting PG to watch then John Stockton. I would take Nash over Stockton pretty much anyday of the week and twice on Tuesday. Stockton could never shoot the 3 ball as well as Nash, and lord knows I love the 3-ball.
I know that my Nash over Stockton stuff is outlandish to some, but Nash is that good. He really is something special. Don't let the fact that he didn't get his props in Dallas fool you. He has been playing this good for more than 2 years.
