NY POST: Francis on his way to Denver
NY Post - He may not know all the particulars, but Peter Vecsey does know Steve Francis, whose friction of late with coach Brian Hill and consequent two-game suspension is well documented, is on the verge of being sent from Orlando to Denver.
In exchange, the Nuggets would give up Nene and Watson, who would either wind up in New York or Seattle. Obviously, the Knicks would have to surrender one of their youngbloods, preferably a guard, whereas the Sonics are prepared to part with Reggie Evans, Ronald Murray and Vitaly Potapenko. The second wave of talks is linked to Ratliff, Ruben Patterson and Penny Hardaway.

Peter Vecsey can say that water is wet and I would have to have it confirmed before I believed him.
Francis would not fit with Denver at all.

I don't understand this at all.Even for Vecsey it's completely nonsensical.Denver is rock solid at PG and weak at SG...Francis doesn't seem to be a very good SG...Ahh Why should I care what Vecsey says anyway?I don't know if he was ever right about anything.

True about Vecsey, but I think Francis in Denver would be a good fit. Francis is a much better scorer than he is playmaker, when he doesn't have to think as much. Denver's backcourt would be small, but potent.

Agreed, he'd be a nice fit IMO.
