Turnovers

Ok ive watched basketball for quite some time, but im not sure about one thing.

Lets say player A throws a wild pass, and player B tries to save it but he can't (touches ball while trying to save) is the TO charged to player a or b?

Or if player A throws a pass, and it is waaay off target but hits another player on his team, and is then stolen, who is charged with the TO?

Thanks for any info

Re: Turnovers

1. A is charged with the TO

2. If the pass is caught then is stolen it is charged to the player who caught it but had it stolen from him.

If A throws it and B cannot catch it then A is charged with the TO.

But if A gets it to B but B has it stripped or fumbles it then it is charged to B.

Re: Turnovers

A will get the turnover in both situations.
