If my memory serves me right, besides Carmelo and LBJ, we did not get another 20ppg rookie since 99 (brand and maybe a few others that class).

Last season we didn't have a 20ppg

This season, it looks highly unlikely.

and apparently, a lot of ppl say that next draft class is weak.


So when will we get another 20 ppg rookie? And does anyone dare say who will it be too?

It doesnt matter to me, because every year the jazz GM will be an idiot and draft the wrong players. Who the hell passes up tony parker for Raul Lopez just because he is a foriegn playeer and they want to stash him there. huh. idiots.

Not only do I not think that Oden will average 20 a game as a rookie, but I'll say he won't average 20ppg in college.

I'm going to have to disagree. It depends a A LOT on where they go and who they have around them yatta yatta yatta.

Redick has been averaging over 20ppg in college for a few years now. Morrison has also been around 20ppg for quite some time now. Of course there is a difference between college and pro ball. BUT, that doesn't mean it's not possible. Redick is on pace to be one of the all time points leaders in college HISTORY. And there have been quite a few people from his college to be GREAT NBA players.

These guys are scorers. They aren't scoring because they are pushing everybody around in the post...it's not because they are bigger and stronger than everybody else. It's because they can flat out score.

Will it happen? Probably not, but they are the most likely IMO.
