I met him about 3 years ago. He was very nice to me at the time and actually looked like he was interested in the conversation. Good guy! I hope he gets well...

I told him I enjoyed the show and how he and Charles get a long. He said it was great working with Charles and that he is hilarious and they have a lot of fun...

The Ernie Get Well thread...
That was a total shocker on TNT just now. Ernie Johnson just admitted publicly that he has a form of cancer in his cheek (lymphima lobe?). Anyway, I thought it was necessary to make a thread for him to show our concern over somebody who has become a very loved member the NBA community. Feel free to pitch in a comment as there's a chance this might brighten up a day for him sometime. I really hope Ernie has a successful summer with his program and comes back in full health next season. I couldn't imagine the NBA on TNT without him.

My mom is a cancer surviver and my sister has lukemia so I kno what hes going through.

As far as I know he's not going anywhere. He's going to tough out the rest of the season and in the off season get treatment and come right back. I hope he has a speedy recovery.
