And then comes the zone. It's not NBA you know. But it is most likely that China won't be playing for medals.
And Yao would abuse Miller on the offensive end of the court...

No, Thomas and his guys weren't the only ones in the wrong Saturday. The Nuggets have their own issues. But when it was over, at least they weren't crying, at least they weren't punking.
It's all gone in New York now – the pride, the respect, the dignity. This isn't just a bad team; this is a bad act. A once proud franchise and fan base brought to its knees as its pathetic coach makes excuses and whines for mercy.

Re: Will USA Reclaim Gold in Beijing 2008?
The US might win gold, but they'll have some tough competition.
Argentina likely returns the same players. France could have a really talented, athletic team. The Serbians always have good players, they just need to sort out the chemistry issues. Spain, Italy, China...

the guy team USA has to watch out for is coach K. he does a great job taking a ton of talent and screwing it up. i hope he lets his assistants do the coaching.

You do understand that Yao made Brad Miller cry once right? Like seriously made him cry during a game.

If what you say is true then coach K. is just like Larry Brown. Larry Brown had all this talent in 2004 but he starts Marbury in the backcourt w/ Iverson and Odom @ powerforward. I think he also played Boozer and Jefferson more minutes than Amare and Bron.

Re: Will USA Reclaim Gold in Beijing 2008?
I don't see Yao Ming really being that big of a problem. the guys for the US will know how to deal with Yao from the regular season. I think the team that will give the US the most trouble in the Olympics will be Argintina. they scare me more than China. the only way China beats the US is if they play with the same rules 1972. and China gets three attempts at every shot.

Re: Will USA Reclaim Gold in Beijing 2008?
Mark my word...China will have something up their sleeve. Thier government puts so much pressure on their olympic athleetes as it is, emagine it now being that the games are in china itself. Anyone who watches the olympics over the last decade+ knows how china is comming out of nowhere and slowly dominating the olympic games...
