Forget that, thats disrespect as a man. I have played organized sports for over 20 years and thats not what is supposed to go on in a "TEAM" sport, that is not supposed to happen on a professional level. Hes a professional. It wasnt blown out of proportion. Kobe was clearly ticked looked and gave him an elbow. he wasnt smiling when he did it, and Sasha isnt one of his children.

Happens ALL THE TIME in the NBA, you just don't hear about it. Hell KG punched his teammates face out, and busted his jaw. Am I saying that is a model of what I would do, or suggest someone else do? No. But he was getting on his a$$. Some people need that, and in today's soft America people and players need to be cuddled up to and suggested instead of getting physical and telling them the deal. People now frown upon a guy like Bobby Knight's methods. Kobe isn't just a teammate out there, he has to be the leader. And he has to do, what he has to do to motivate. I too have played "team" sports for a good while. More specifically, the game we are discussing. There are multiple wyas to do things. Who are you or anyone else in position to judge? I would elbow a guy like Sasha. And don't even make it sound like it was a vicious elbow. It looked more like a slap while they were both sitting on the bench. Don't trip.

I have absolutely no problem erasing the entirety of your posts that bait and attack.

If Thomas wants to stop people from running up the score on him, then he should have built a better club. He shouldn't have wasted all that money on illogical signings, outrageous trades and heartless characters.
No, Thomas and his guys weren't the only ones in the wrong Saturday. The Nuggets have their own issues. But when it was over, at least they weren't crying, at least they weren't punking.
It's all gone in New York now – the pride, the respect, the dignity. This isn't just a bad team; this is a bad act. A once proud franchise and fan base brought to its knees as its pathetic coach makes excuses and whines for mercy.

It happens all the time in practice. This was a televised game. Once again as far as the KG situation, Rick Rickert was not his teammate. I have been around and watched more than enough games, know a few NBA players, been to more than enough 76er practices and things like that to know what and what doesnt go on in the NBA. That was disrespectful. There is no way a man that has any respect for himself allows another to disrespect him in that manner. It wasnt the fact that the elbow was vicious at all, it was the manner in which it was done. I thought I was watching a high school clip or something when I saw it.
Apologies for taking this thread off course, I just wanted to lay my 2 cents as far as what was said about him being a great teammate. There's a guy that works at my job that played all 4 years with Kobe in highschool and will be the first to tell you hes a major ***** and him acting in the manner that he has over the last couple seasons is his true persona

Like any of that is reliable info. And yes, the guy who KG punches WAS his teammate. Or was looking to earn a contract for that team.

Work ethic is what seperates him from anyone you're willing to compare him to.

Happens quite frequently, both in practice and on the sidelines.
