He's seriously overrated in terms of MVP consideration.
Wade, Lebron, Dirk, Brand..ill take any of these players.

lol, if you're gonna take about those players. Nash should and WILL get consideration among them. That's not overrating him. If you can't see that at least then not sure what you have been watching. We're ahead of the Clips in our division. We better records than Cavs and pretty much the same record with the Heat and we beat them pretty bad when we played them.
I knew since I said something about Kobe, someone would say something about Nash. Too predictable.
I also said I don't care if he won it or not. Which I don't think he will. But he should get consideration though.

Has nothing to do with Kobe, only you would assume that. I give credit when a player derserves one. Nash is a great player no doubt about that.
If the NBA MVP is awarded to either Lebron,Dirk, Wade or Brand today, ill be a happy fan. These players deserves it more than Nash. I dont see anything spectacular or overwhelming with what Nash accomplished over the other players mentioned above, that would overshadow them.
Its just my opinion anyway, like yours...at the end it doesnt mean jack and wont make a difference on who gets it.

Re: Make your case...MVP
NBA MVP will go to a player from either San Antonio, Dallas, or Detriot. These teams have the best records this season, so that narrows the selection pool. Nash is close and he has accomplished more than expected this season considering he has lead the team without Amare Stoudamire, but I don't think that will be enough to overshadow the big three.

He's made every doubter eat their words and is putting up ridiculous numbers. 31, 7, and 7? That's sick!

There is no way anyone on the Spurs will win the MVP.

Re: Make your case...MVP
It almost has to be Dirk or Nash. And Kobe, Lebron and Wade are all better candidates than anyone from the Pistons or Spurs. That's my 12345 right there.

Yeah, I agree. I really think Dirk Nowitzki is the most obvious choice this year based on the criteria they usually use. He is top five statistically (3rd in PER), his team is one of the three best in the league, and he is the only all-star on a top 3 team to not be playing next to another all-star.
A player hasn't won MVP on a team with less than 56 wins since 1988. Spurs, Mavericks and Pistons are the only teams on pace to win more than 56.
