What's the keyword? Come on brah, don't make us Hawaiians look bad by the incorrect spelling of 33.3% of the words in your statement.

Re: Make your case...MVP
id be glad to see lebron win it
as long as its not Nash or Billipus, I will be okay with whoever gets it. If one of these 2 get it, I will be pissed. It would be a joke just like last year was. Dirk, Wade, Lebron are top players on the league on top teams. Kobe is the best individual player and is getting his team to the playoffs. One of these guys better get it over the pg's

1. One of only seven players in NBA history to average 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists while shooting 50% or more from the field in a playoff series (the others are Bob Cousy, Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan). Wade accomplished this in two consecutive series in the 2005 playoffs.
2. Joined Wilt Chamberlain, Magic Johnson, and Allen Iverson as the only players ever to record games of 40+ points, 10+ rebounds, and 15+ assists in the same playoff season in 2005.
3. Holds the record for being the only player in NBA history to ever average at least 30 points on 69.5 field goal percentage for four consecutive NBA playoff series games (5/23/06-5/29/06). The last record was held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with 63%. Wade accomplished it with less than 20 field goal attempts per game
4. Fifth player in NBA history with at least 30 points, 15 assists and 5 rebounds in a playoff game (5/10/05 vs. WAS). The others are Magic Johnson, Jerry West, Walt Frazier and Oscar Robertson.
5. One of four players in NBA history to have at least 30 points and 12 assists in three consecutive games (November 24-27, 2006). The others are Oscar Robertson, Nate Archibald, and Kevin Johnson. [5]

Re: Make your case...MVP
I've read the whole thread and I think everyone has narrowed down the candidates appropriately. LeBron's stats are the most impressive. I looked at NBA.com's Efficiency Stats, which is what used to be called the Larry Bird Formula, the formula that most writers used to (or maybe still do) base their MVP vote on. (Last year was an exception). This year, the top guy is Kevin Garnett. Now, we can't give the award to him because his win-loss record is awful. The next two guys are the guys I like the best for the award. #2 is LeBron and #3 is Brand. Both players have taken terrible teams back to the playoffs. One could make a case for Brand because he has taken the CLIPPERS to the playoffs. The Clippers have only been there three times before him. He's getting 25 and 10 and playing good defense. He's turned his game up a notch. He's a big time candidate for me. But LeBron has even better numbers so it should probably go to him. Yo, did yall see LeBron's 47 pts 12 rebs and 10 assts in a win over Wade's Heat? That, alone, pushes LeBron into the #1 spot. What is fun, though, is that there are still a few weeks more of games for Brand and others to make their case. The season isn't over yet.
Go Blazers. Watch Bones.
