What other benifit does what you said have? People are not objects. Wow, how insightfull.

you really read too much into two sentences that I wrote. I didn't insult you, I didn't call you names, I hardly said anything to you
that being said, I don't find it helpful to describe people as objects. You can be as sarcastic as you would like about the insightfulness of pointing out people are not objects, I do find that to be a very important issue that cannot be underestimated

what, are you a philosophy major or something.
Read my post next time before you quote me. The term product, refers to the NBA as a whole, not the players.
I dont know how you can say you didnt insult me. You quoted me and then gave me a condesending lesson about "how people are not objects." The tone of your original post struck me as very superior. Next time you want to try to sound smart by making someone appear ignorant (which i believe is what you were trying to do here) atleast make sure you have something to say.

Same goes for you. Like i have been saying numerous times, product is often used in this context when talking about a league. Someone back me up. Ive been attacking DWADE, maybe i should be mad at you.
maybe you havent heard products used in that context before, I have. You should know what you are talking about before you start insulting people. You better respond to this. I am really pissed that you and Dwade can insult me under the guise of concern for the human rights of NBA players. LMFAO.
What, do you honestly think i consider NBA players as less than human?

I quoted you and I offered my opinion
that was it
again, you are reading it too much and again I have not done much and you are again assaulting me based on your phantom beliefs that somebody insulted you (while you are doing just the same, even though the other person [me] has not done anything)
You assumed my intention, my tone while having little factual basis for doing so
if you think me offering my opinion and not insulting you is looking down on you, so be it
I was aware that you were referring to the image as a whole, to me I just think using the word "product" to describe such "image" (which are made of people, btw) is to fine a line, however philosophical, to step in and out

Re: League banning tights
Pretty soon...you won't be able to wear your jersey.
I could see that...I mean, they can't wear jerseys when they're not playing...not being able to when they are playing is next.
Might as well ban sneakers while they're at it.

Re: League banning tights
Man, what's with all these leagues sucking the fun out of the games?
-NBA with the short lengths (no one wants to see daisy sukes anymore), and the banning of the sexy looking tights (for medical and fashion reasons). What's next? No cornrows, headbands, etc. An no matter what anyone tells you, it is subdued racism behind this changes. At least to attmept to bring back that older white demographic, even though they belittle today's game.
-NFL with the banning of even more endzone celebrations. Which is one of the most fun aspects about the game. My Bears got beat this year in the playoffs, and I was pissed cause Steve Smith was torching us, but when he did the road runner re-enactment of running into the goal post and making his legs and arms go forward, I bursted out laughing.
-MLB with the banning of steroids.
I mean WTF? Why take all the fun out? lol
But in all seriousness...out of the actual real sports, the NFL makes the most money. Why would it feel the need to ban endzone celebrations? Its for entertainment purposes. And thats why people are watching the games (well, that or gambling).
NASCAR as of right now is the most successful event. You don't see them getting tighter and tighter, and restricting more things. Hell, they are the most popular b/c they let EVERYTHING slide. People die in cars, get into huge accidents caused be other drivers purposely, get into fights in the pit after races... and the country bumpkin hill billy fans eat that ish up. Why don't these leagues take a page out of NASCAR's book, and let the game be just what it is... A GAME, where all participants whether it be players, coaches, owners, fans can ENJOY and be ENTERTAINED, having fun while watching these events.
The NFL, NBA, and MLB is ran by little Hitlers. I swear to god.
