Not going to argue with you about this really because you are a homer and I could be classified as a homer, but you seem to really overstate the Bulls players and understate the Orlando players to support your argument.

I don't see how anyone could logically pick Chicago over Orlando right now. Of course if Chicago lands Oden or something like that, things change. But I think Orlando's young core is quite a bit more promising than Chicago's right now.
Correction: Dwight Howard had the best rebound rate in the league, now Chandler does.

Honestly, how does Orlando's core have more potential than Chicago's? Outside of Dwight Howard, no one really has any overwhelming star potential, Jameer Nelson is a good player, a possibility, but probaly will cap out at a Sam Cassell in a slightly above average year imo. Darko? He has some good stuff, but right now he is at where you would want a player to do his rookie year....at average.

And Orlando and Chicago are about at the same spot right now development wise, but Chicago is the better team, and they have better options for the future with 2 picks this year, one being a top one, ****load of capspace, and a prime time ticket for the Greg Oden extravaganza.

Yea, tell me when you get Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen on your team, along with one of the greatest rebounders and defensive players in NBA history.

If we were talking in person I would easily show you how you are wrong, but I'm not writing that much. JNice will come soon and show you.

How so?

Bulls are better now, and potentially at both guard spots and small forwards. The front court is the one place where the Magic outmatch the Bulls right now. But Tyson Chandler is a defensive gem, and with a top 3 pick, and a mid first round pick, as well as capspace you know the Bulls are going to address their front court.

Expect something like this for the Bulls this offseason:

Tyrus Thomas or Lamarcus Aldridge as well as Shelden Williams or Joakim Noah later in the draft (or Reddick)

as well as guys like Pryzbilla and Wilcox in the offseason.

Tyson Chandler could not handle Dwight Howard or Darko Milicic at all. He is far too skinny and weak. Plus, we are talking about who has the best young core now. You have no idea who you are getting in the future. You could get Pryz, Wilcox, or you could get another skinny guy like Noah to go along with Tyson. Despite all this, Dwight Howard will still for sure be better than any player you will get unless you somehow get Greg Oden. Plus you seem to forget the fact that the Magic also have a high draft pick this year, and more free capspace than the Bulls, and during a bigger FA market.

Average SFs do not win championships, dominant big men do.

Re: Bulls or Magic

Both have a chance! Bulls if they swap picks for next year and hope the Knicks still are bottom-dwellers. Get Greg Ogden! Orlando's Dwight Howard, Jameer and Darko are a great core to build around. Add an athlete like Rudy Gay or Rodney Carney or a shooter like J.J Reddick and thats great. Use your cap room when Grant Hill's contract expires. Sign a big free agent or use your cap flexibility in trades. Add veterans, dont overpay for talent.

Oh yeah, we totally have to get someone else at our star player's position if we want to contend. Especially one of those two prospects. A completely unproven high school kid and a guy who is too old to do our team any good. Yep.
