It's just that the clippers line up very well against pretty much any team 1-5, i can definately see them taking the mavs to 7 in the 1st round.

i dont see kobe carrying the lakers anywhere near the second round though.

When you are missing 4 of your top 8 players at the same time, that tends to hurt your depth. Oh well. Where's all the haters now after the Mavs go into San Antonio and beat the Spurs in a playoff type game? I mean, a loss to the Spurs the last time was enough to declare the Mavs just the regular season champs. Where are you now?

Dallas is really limping into the playoffs. Van Horn is done for the year, Devin Harris and Adrian Griffin haven't played in a month, Josh Howard has been off and on hurt all year. The Clippers are a good team, it's a winnable series for them.

Miami has problems as well. Jason Williams and Alonzo will be heading into the playoffs after extended inactivity, Indiana always plays them tough, and Miami has been awful against good teams this year. People are talking about whether or not the Nets can beat Miami. They have to get to the second round first.

I'm not enamored with Phoenix or their ability to cruise by whoever they get in the first round, but I don't know if the Lakers are the team to beat them. They still play two more times this year though and we'll see where they stand.

I agree, Indiana is always a tough matchup and a team to avoid in the first round. I am not so sure about Lakers beating phoenix, as your watching the game right now, Phoenix is just too fast for La.However, your right about the clippers, they could beat Dallas.

I bet there will be atleast one...Lakers could put up a shot against Phoenix since they play no D, I bet Kobe averages like 50 pts for the entire series...Memphis actually has a better record then Denver so I don't know if that is considered an upset...And the Cavs might have a tough time with Washington...Plus the Clippers will put in a good fight against Dallas.

Everyone always hates on us, man. If we beat the Spurs, it's a fluke; if the Spurs beat us, then that means we're not good enough to be on their level.
