if they spark come play off time they will be as dominant as ever, but at the moment i wouldnt be surprised in the least to see them gone first round.

For those predicting the Mavs to get upset, you better check Dirk Diggler's playoff resume`. Dirk does not bull**** in the playoffs. He is a terror. More than any other superstar, Dirk cranks it up a notch in the playoffs. I can't recall the Mavs ever losing to an inferior team with Dirk playing.

Dirk lit up Garnett more than once in the playoffs. Infact he always stepped up in the playoffs prior to last season. I still wonder if he was hurt or something last year. He just didn't look like himself in either series. As much as people wanted to give credit to Shawn Marion and Tracy McGrady for "shutting him down" I really doubt it was them.

Regardless, I expect big things from Dirk this year in the playoffs. With the Spurs being as shaky as they have been since the Spurs won their first title, the west is there for the taking. I think the Mavericks could streak their way to the finals, or I think the Clippers could beat them in the first round. The west will be interesting this year.

well supposedly Dirk was hiding the fact that he was sick part of the Houston series so I don't know about last year, cuz come on could houston's bowen really guard Dirk? Anyway we did have a shot at the title but dirk got hurt during that series against the spurs, ironic since CWebb got hurt the series before by the Mavs.

Also we will see, the last 6 Mavs games are all against Playoff bound teams (2 Clipper games) or teams fighting for the playoff spot. We will see how well the Clips can go up against the Mavs. The Main reason that the Clips might not upset Dallas is how many of their players will be better in the Playoff atmosphere.

Ask yourself and be honest, you think the Spurs will shoot consistantly EVERY game of the playoffs? If you say yes I will go ahead and print out your homer sticker And yea I know the mavs will have a bad game or two in the playoffs (Stack :x ) As for tonights win, weve already blown yall out once this season just to let you know

Um, look at Dirks shooting % against Marion and maybe even McGrady in the regular season last yr not just the playoffs. I know with Marion guarding him, he shot somewhere between 36-42% each of those games. It wasn't just playoffs where he didn't play well against Marion though.
