okay so just by looking at NOK's schedule I think they are most likely done
Lakers seem to have a really easily schedule with 5 home games with the clippers and hornets being banged up, Phx should really be the only loss
SAC is on fire but and the same think could be said about them, they probably will drop to Denver on the road
basically the key is most likely this, WHOEVER BEATS PHOENIX will most likely get the 7 to play them in the playoffs
Kings have the tie breaker
Prediction: SAC - 7, LAL - 8

Grizzlies should take it from LAC because they have a easier schedule and have the clips @ home and the clips are banged up
Prediction : Memphis 5, LAC - 6

Re: 5th and 7th in the west
If the Lakers don't sweep these 5 games, I don't know what to say. All 5 are winnable and the NBA did them a favor with 5 home games here. They need to win these games.

Re: 5th and 7th in the west
Hornets are basically looking at a 2-5 finish. Kings are looking at a 1-4 or 2-3 finish. Lakers should finish 4-1 or 3-2.
Grizzlies will finish ahead of the Clippers I think. 6th seed is better anyways. Nuggets and Suns is much easier than Mavericks and Spurs.

Re: 5th and 7th in the west
I think it will go:
5. Clippers
6. Grizzlies
7. Lakers
8. Kings
The Clippers have 2 losses to give and they are playing pretty well. I think the final game of Clippers vs. Grizzlies should be funny to watch especially if they both are safely ahead of Denver. The Grizz will probably lose to San Antonio and Minny on the road (resting starters). That means the Clippers have to lose at least four more games including vs. The Grizzlies. The Lakers have 5 home games left and should go 3-2.

Re: 5th and 7th in the west
As a Clipper fan I really hope we finish 6th, because I would much rather play Denver in the 1st round and the Suns/Kings in the 2nd.
The 5th seed would play the top two teams in the west in rounds one and two (Spurs/Mavs)

Re: 5th and 7th in the west
I could see Memphis only losing 1 game if they wanted too. Clips have a tough schedule ahead. Lakers might pull off something, 2 Dallas games, and a BIG Memphis Game
