Yeah like here in Belgium league you see centers standing at the 3 point line and stuff like that instead of staying in the post.

Re: More Entertaining Brand of Basketball
The same people who complain about the 3 pointer in college basketball seem to love it in International ball. If guys were shooting from the NBA pro line, International ball would look much different.

Well the athletes in the NBA are really incredible. I mean just look what the _daily_ top ten look like
On the other hand I hate how they don't call travelling in the NBA. Really hard to bear

Re: More Entertaining Brand of Basketball
What's with the assumption that NBA automatically = selfish non team play? Some of the coaches in the NBA have some very interesting and sophisticated strategies used to win ball games.
It also has to do with the type of players on the court. If you had someone like Kobe or AI, you'd be foolish not to use him more.
Speaking of Kobe, take a look at the triangle offense (not executed well this season thoough), take a look at the Kings Princeton offense, Pistons, NJN- still most teams in the NBA do play as a team very well, both on defense and offense. The whole FIBA or Euroleague having better team play is a misconception- just because a team focuses their offense on one or two players doesn't make it a not a team game. It's a team game with a different strategy.

Euro ball is a good filler if all the inernational players in the NBA stayed overseas it would be better shorter games and intense atmosphere not better than the NBA though.

Re: More Entertaining Brand of Basketball
Both are interesting but I think that the NBA is way better. Better players, better athletes, better shooters IMO. Whats funny is that people complain about the referees in the NBA, you haven't seen anything more frustrating than the biased calls you'd see in FIBA.

Re: More Entertaining Brand of Basketball
I like both styles, each one has its pros and contras.
Anyway good dunks are on both sides and not few italian or spanish games have more dunks than many NBA games
