Re: LeBron James...
I dont understand loving basketball and hating a player like LeBron James or Kobe Bryant or any other player thats getting it done.
I mean Kobe Bryant doesn't seem like the kind of guy I'd want to have dinner and hang out with, but for the time that he's playing basketball I'm amazed. Nobody says you have to like every player or anything but I just see rampant hate for no reason.
I think the main reason people hate a player is that it threatens their favorite players hype and legacy. People hate on LeBron because they feel the media is trying to take the "crown" from Michael Jordan. People hate on Dwyane Wade because he's playing somewhat unexpected basketball and it lessens the singular hype on LeBron. Same with Carmelo. Then Toronto fans are mad at everyone else in the class because they have a hidden gem in Bosh who isn't in any of the talk because he's stuck on a losing team in Canada. Darko fans are just plain mad...
Hate a guy because he was a ******* when you went for an autograph not because he puts the ball in the basket more, or because he got more halftime specials, or his name shows up more on PTI's sideboard than your favorite player...

The baseline drive for the game winner in game 5 is a joke. Whats the point covering the baseline if you are going to allow James and not bother putting your hands down in Jamsion to drive for the game winner?
It's like that was no defense whatsoever.
And as well, if it wasnt for Arenas taking those ill advised shots in clutch, James would never have a chance to attack in a semi-open floor. Dont act like you can do that anytime. IF you are talking about the Heat, the Nets, the piston were they would play discipline baslketball, see how James woukd score.
Anyone wasnt noticing where James shot a brick 3 pointer against Jefferies that he wasnt even able to dribble as it was a halfcourt set play. There are lots and more intense defense like those when you are playing the Piston, the Heats or the Nets.

Re: LeBron James...
Can't wait to see if he can step up to the challenge against the Pistons. The first series was beyond any expectations I could have thought up for him.

Re: LeBron James...
Yeah, LeBron is a special player and put up GODLY #'s against the Wizards, but I won't comment until he does this on the Pistons, Spurs, Mavericks, Heat.....This is the same Wizards team that gave up 40 a game to D-Wade last year, minus their best defender in Larry Hughes.

LOL.
Haters should just stfu. What more does he need to prove to you guys? "He hasn't gotten to the playoffs...duhhh" He's in the 2nd round now. "he's taken 3 years to get to the playoffs" Why does that matter? "He plays no defense" he's getting better. "He's not clutch" he's hitten several gamewinners. "He's too cocky" he's frickin 21. "He's not getting out of the first round." He's in the second round.
Seriously. He's so good, every hate post I see just talks about his endorsements, and his age. Hold something against him that's part of his game.

Re: LeBron James...
He's done plenty to me, but since he's THIS far....hell I want to see what he can do vs. Detroit (which we are about to see) in a 7 game series. Look, even if LeBron fails miserably (which I doubt won't happen), I still can't hate on the man......
LBJ is the Truth.
So i'm going to sit back and enjoy this series vs. Detroit.

Hmm VC averaged 20.3 ppg against the Wiz shooting a whopping 40% fgp this season. I guess if Lebron does great against a team then any good perimeter can do it but if Vince does the same thing it's because he's unique?
