It's wrong to care about another man so much that you create a new thread to hate on him based on completely unconfirmed "might-have and maybe" rumors.

That never needs to be said. Would you use the same vulgar language to make a point to your mother? Obviously your vocab isn't that limited, so don't waste peoples time by posting something you know needs to be edited.
I didn't write the rules, and we won't tolerate people intentionally breaking them after being warned because they felt it should be said regardless.

It's a play on the situation and Kobe's reputation within his organization. I was referring to Jim Jackson being traded for 'disobeying' Kobe. Others have picked up on it on this thread, so I don't think it was too subtle.
I guess the part that confused me is that Jim Jackson is a free agent. Not to mention he averaged 7 minutes a game and is 36, but I'm sure if he isn't brought back it's because he disobeyed Kobe right? Only a Kobe groupie/lover would think otherwise right?

Shrug. These are the "Kobe had 0 assists in his 81 point game and shot too much" people. Nothing they even say anymore about Kobe really surprises me.

Regardless, the fact that you're even trying to defend this thread and its author more than speaks for itself.
I'm not defending anything. In pretty much every single thread that is about Kobe there's a response from you and a few other particular posters that always focuses on calling them haters, stating they care more about Kobe than anything else and care more about Kobe than anybody else does, and using that to justify your opinion that they are wrong. Rather than ridiculing people why don't you make your response simply about what you disagree with. Focusing on who is saying something and why they're saying it is going to get you nowhere. Like I said earlier, you guys are just as big of a problem in Kobe discussions as all the haters are.

And that's another problem. Anything suggesting something negative about him is "hating". Maybe it's just discussing. Is it not possible to discuss something about Kobe? And even if it was hating it doesn't matter. Again, don't tell somebody that they're wrong, tell them how they're wrong.

Great post. For every hater who says Kobe can do no right, there is a poster who says he can do no wrong. These posts get just as or more tiresome then the negative posts.

Good facts, and good point. This is what we lacking here in the majority of this thread...is the facts.

So if I start a thread saying that Raja Bell might have sent Kobe death threats and cushion the thread by talking about how obsessed Raja Bell is with Kobe, that would be okay? We would just be discussing? There would be an obvious agenda at work in a case like that, just like there is with this thread.

I've been around on this site long enough to know that most of the posters here who criticize Kobe, at least on the general boards, have some agenda. Obviously, there are several posters who criticize Kobe and it's perfectly fine, but there are far more haters on this site, and they are to be called out.
The most annoying thing about Kobe haters, to me, is that they mix and match what he does off the court with what he does on it, when they are almost always completely unrelated. What he does off the court should be completely insignificant as long as it doesn't affect what he does on the court. If you're a basketball fan, why even care about what goes on off the court? When people see Jason Kidd running a typical flawless fast break, do they think "haha, wifebeater" or "great point guard"? Kobe deserves the same treatment. All basketball players do. That's what annoys his fans so much - people's intense dislike for Kobe as a person keeping them from often even acknowledging his obviously high level of basketball talent and skill, much less appreciating it.
