Thoughts on Bryan Colangelo?

Curious what you guys think of Bryan Colangelo, the GM.

No Toronto fans, please.

Where does Colangelo rank in terms of the GM's in this league?

Toronto fans or not I think most will agree that the guy is a great basketball executive.

Re: Thoughts on Bryan Colangelo?

Great GM. My only knock on him is that he doesn't value draft picks all that much. I still remember him giving away two first rounders just so he could dump Googs on Utah. And then he traded the Suns #7 one year for a future, unconditional, Bulls pick (which ended up being much later in the draft). They pulled the triggor too quickly.. because the Suns said afterwards if they had known Andre Iggy would be there at 7 they would have drafted him for sure. Imagine that guy with the Suns... sh*t..

That being said when he does pick he's normally pretty good. He told SA to draft Barbosa, picked up Amare, and Marion with late picks no less...
