The bulls only took him because his contract made the curry deal work and the reason they sent him home was so that he wouldn't inhibit the development of their young players at his position.

The way that Thomas is playing isn't that huge a surprise.Eddie House is another marginal NBA player who simply fits in perfectly with the system D'Antoni employs.He's really not much more than a chucker,but he's a chucker with a little length and the Suns are desperate for anyone who has a little length.

There are lots of guys who could do the exact same thing if they were given the same oppurtunity,not only if you are talking about guys who can shoot the ball and not much else.Lots of other NBA players never get the oppurtunity to play the game in the manner best suited to their talents.The coaches usually coach the best system for their best player(s) and then use the other in that system whether they fit in or not.

His always had the skills and talent.. most knew this. He also has great size and atheletic.

I agree that all the teams he played for didnt really have the right type of system to take advantage of his talent. Well he did have a couple of decent seasons as a Buck.

As a sun, they can use him since he is that mismatch player playing the 4 and 5, at the top of the key waiting and spotting up... he can also drive inside so he is a good mismatch player against slower players. Defensive wise... lets just say the Suns didnt want him for that.
He is a pretty good rebounder.. when he tries.
