AI to Denver?????
Should Nuggets attempt to get AI like they did in midseason trade but it didnt happen??? i believe iverson needs to play in a team that has a better chance of getting to the nba playoffs, and it would be great to see him alongside melo and camby.

Re: AI to Denver?????
Who do you expect to trade to get Iverson? He's still a top 10 talent in this league. I would even be hesitant to trade straight up for Carmelo, if the salaries matched.

Re: AI to Denver?????
heard of an unwanted power forward named kenyon martin? an unwanted and overpaid power forward, who's looking for an opportunity to resurrect his career somewhere else.. he's set to make 11.8 next year... iverson's set to make 18.3, so you'd need to throw in a filler, someone like ruben patterson into that mix.. ruben patterson+kenyon martin gone = full cancer recovery wit noh signs of remission
but then they'd be weak at the 4... with too much invested in their backcourt.

Re: AI to Denver?????
The Sixers would not trade Iverson for an underachieving Martin and an overrated Patterson.

You mean the guy making $70 million over the next five years who has chronic knee problems, a pedestrian statline and plays the exact same position as the Sixers' best player other than Iverson?
Yeah, I'm sure Philly would jump at that.

Re: AI to Denver?????
underachieving martin? he may be a good enough risk, i would consider it. think of how he was in with the nets, he at least has the potential to be that player again... and let's not mention that he's younger than iverson, so he's got more gas in his tank.
patterson is a t00l, but he's a hustle player. he may not be all-star caliber, but if he can get his head on straight, he could be a pretty good role player.
you got a good point rawse, chris webber's contract is... well, let's just say he bogs the team down more than shaq does (in terms of cap space)

Re: My AI to Denver idea
Patterson had a good season, he is definitely a nice role-player. But overall, I don't see Sixers trading with Nuggets. They should not even consider trading AI for Martin. Even if You rebuild You don't want to end up with Martin, Webber and no PG.

Re: My AI to Denver idea
The only reason they need to trade Iverson, is to let the man be on a winning team as well as to rebuild. Let the team rebuild around AI 2.

Re: My AI to Denver idea
ai will not end up in denver unless it's part of a 3 team trade.
watch AI end up in golden state for baron davis and one of their young guys (diogu or pietrus).
