In the American Airlines Center when the away team scores, even if its the Lakers, the fans boo. They also cheer when the Mavericks score. That night in Seattle it seemed as if the Sonics were the away team. They were getting cheered for less than the Lakers were. I understand the Lakers have a ton of fans, probably a lot in Seattle, but almost every city has more home team fans than away fans.

Not Seattle.

Because Mavs have made the playoffs several times in the past years. Seattle doesn't have a contending tradition for the 5 years now. No winning tradition = less fans.

Really? I go to the AAC 10-15 times a season and never once have I heard booing, other than, you know, the Finley thing.
