Dwight can't create, Dwight can't shoot, Dwight can't handle geez in short, Dwight's offense is crap. Look if he was an enforcer or dominant, Orlando would be a lot better in the pathetic East. Look at Chris Bosh carrying a team in the East, that's what a really good big will do for an Eastern Conference team.

The funny thing is simply that all those things that people were saying about Amare "Getting by on Athleticism", "Garbage Man", "Just a Dunker" is pretty much still true for Dwight Howard, all of it, as his actual skills are lacking, not to mention his still completely missing shooting touch while Amare has acquired those skills steadily and quickly to become the best big man scorer since Shaq in his 3rd season.

Re: Predict Dwight's stats

Amare has a better point guard, coach, and the refs like his hairstyle more.

I am predicting Howard to average 30 points a game next year, if he doesn't than Jameer Nelson really sucks.

Re: Predict Dwight's stats

Amare plays in a system much more suited to his abilities and, oh, he plays with the two time reigning MVP. Dwight Howard plays with Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkoglu and the always injured Grant Hill. Take Howard off the Magic and they are, quite possibly, the worst team in the league. They have no talent after Dwight.

Thanks for the sarcasm. The point is, you can't blame Howard for the Magic's mediocre record. They'd be nowhere without him.

Re: Predict Dwight's stats

lol

the arguments are always so shallow when it comes to Dwight's offense. If Dwight WAS surrounded by scrubs so bad, his stats would be inflated. Any 'good' player on a bad team will have his stats inflated. So basically, by using the scrub and no talent excuses, you can be saying something about the Magic's record but you are at the same time saying that if he had good teamates, his stats would be lower.

This always cracks me up. There are a TON of teams that would be a lot worse if you took away their BEST PLAYER. WTF kind of argument is that? And n o they wouldn't be worse than the celtics or the grizzlies without gasol etc.

Question, when you come back next season predicting a turnaround for Orlando can we ignore you or tell you that you said their talent sucks?

well, look at it this way

if amare had to be the sun's best player and nash was out for the season the suns would be garbage (i think "garbage" is the term i keep seeing) and that is why nash deserves to be mvp. when amare doesnt have an mvp point guard this season the suns are an atrocious 2-4.

even if you exclude nash, amare has the better supporting cast, but the dwight has still kept the magic from being complete garbage
