You can say he isn't a superstar ... I'd venture to say the opposing coaches who are now trying to figure out how to stop him from killing their frontcourt would disagree. As well as the probable Player of the Month he'll receive this month and his first All-Star selection.

No longer probable.

Re: Utah Jazz or Orlando Magic
By the end of the season i'll take Orlando, who needs to start getting Darko more minutes. Saw him play in Seattle the other night, the guy is a beast, get him on the court more.

It is happening. And his confidence is growing. Brian Hill has had him on the court a lot more with Dwight lately and also finishing out games instead of Battie. Dwight and Darko on the court together are proving to be quite a good combo down low defensively.
I just hope Orlando can keep him after this year.

"I thought their interior defense was spectacular," Seattle Coach Bob Hill said. "We could get into the paint, but we couldn't do anything. When we'd get the ball inside, their size was just waiting for us."
"I thought their length really hurt us. Howard was spectacular; we couldn't even get floaters over the top of him. Darko was just as good," Bob Hill said.

not sure he is getting enough minutes, Figuring there are 96 minutes per game for the two frontcourt spots( center and pf) they could break it down;
Dwight 38
Darko 32
Battie 26
thats how it should be. As for him being there next year its a no brainer to me but last i looked i wasnt on the Magic payroll.

Just as much as I guarantee Fisher, Harpring, Millsap and Giricek are a far superior offensive squad.

Except your bench scores about the same amount of points a game as the Magic bench, and the Jazz play at a faster pace.

I'd say they are about even, actually. Definitely not far superior in either direction.

Considering both offense and defese in perspective, yes.

I don't see how the Jazz group is at all definitely superior offensively.

Re: Utah Jazz or Orlando Magic
Harpring - 11.4 PPG
Fisher - 9.8 PPG
Millsap - 6.7 PPG
Giricek - 6.3 PPG
Total = 34.2 PPG
Dooling - 8.3 PPG
Darko - 7.9 PPG
Ariza - 5.8 PPG
Bogans - 4.5 PPG
Total = 26.5 PPG
..Is it really that hard to see?
