It's kind of obvious, but then again, what more could I, or anyone in that case, expect from someone who really doesn't watch the NBA besides his own team and goes by stats and record to determine who's a better player?

That's strange, because the Spurs are "not caring" all the way to a 31-14 record in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, Miami is taking the art of "not caring" to another extreme with that 6-game below .500 mark (19-25).

Yup, Heat got to 50 wins last year with not caring. 19-25 is beyond not caring, the product they've had on the floor this year just plain isn't good. heck, Shaq got injured in practice today, anyone who thinks he is going to come back, and save the Heat is out of their mind.

Great. Is ESPN the BCS now?... do we just bypass the playoffs, and ESPN selects what two teams it wants in the NBA finals.
That would be awesome.

This power ranking has the Wizards ahead of the Bulls.

4. Wizards... 26-17 ... No one expected these guys to lead the East at any stage, but credit where credit is due: Wiz are 22-8 since their 4-9 start and 9-5 since starting 0-8 on the road.

7 . Bulls ... 26-19 ... After a 1-5 start to the New Year, Bulls are back in the top 10 (where they belong) with a 6-2 spurt that includes impressive home victories over Spurs and Mavs.
