I've seen the same thing in that one show called "slamball" (basketball with trampolines), the guy landed oddly on his foot on a trampoline and his foot was completely separated with his ankle, only being held on his body by the skin. If you had scissors you could easily cut the rest of his foot off in one snip.

It's called an open dislocation.

Oh god why did you remind of that. I remember seeing that a few years ago. Dude wasn't even in the league either, it was like tryouts or something if I remember correctly.
