Re: NBA on ABC: Miami @ Detroit/Dallas @ Phoenix
Well, since everyone values a team that plays dirty apparently, maybe it's good?
I see some interesting calls but I didn't complain about them when they happened in the Mavs game until the OT debacle; give it awhile until it really matters.

There was no foul on Nash. I don't like that.

What's up with AJ's blue tongue? Am I the only one that notices that? It looks like he sucks on one of those gigantic lollipops before each game.

Re: NBA on ABC: Miami @ Detroit/Dallas @ Phoenix
Dirk's not gonna return to the game. Avery knows the Mavs have a 7(about to be 6) game lead on the Suns, so in the grand scheme of things, this game really isn't that big.
Congrats to the Suns for capitalizing on the Mavs complete lack of defense today. Yes the Mavs are missing Dampier, but thats no excuse to play the kind of defense they did today.
Edit: Guess I was wrong about Dirk, although I would have left him out anyways. the Mavs aren't playing good enough defensively today to win.

I can see the excuses coming if the Suns win, however.
I think one of them will be "They shot very well from the field (60%) and have to do that to win." Which makes a lot of sense.

Thing is, theres games when teams shoot a high percentage even with a hand in their face. Today isn't one of those days. the Mavs just aren't playing defense like they are capable of, and the Suns have taken full advantage of that.
