Like I've said, it's been hard for the Suns to get motivated since they've been locked in that 2 seed for awhile now. Since the Spurs are creeping up on them they'll more than likely step up their game. Just like once the playoffs come you won't see games where the Denver Nuggets annihilate them.

Those words came out the wrong way. I didn't mean it that it directly correlates to postseason success. I meant you should be trying to play your best basketball at the end of the season, not slacking off because you think you have your seed wrapped up. If I were a Suns fan, I would be extremely pissed off if I felt any of the players were slacking off as you suggest.

It's always easy to be an arm chair coach and say a team should always give it 100%, but realistically it's almost impossible to dedicate yourself fully to games that don't mean much. The Suns have been good enough to get away with their complancency, and as long they're winning(7-3 in their last 10), who cares? Why should anyone be "pissed"?

Like I keep repeating, now that the playoffs are coming up and the Spurs are breathing down their necks expect the Suns to be better, especially Amare's defense. It's inevitable to see players go through stretches on cruise control when there's nothing on the line.

That's my take on it, anyways.

Great thing you build your opinion one one game against Tim Duncan in which SA was on pace for 80 something points until the end when the game before Amare scored 24 points and grabbed 23 rebounds against Duncan in a 16pt rout while Duncan was shooting 5-16?
