My standards are high.

When I speak its about the best of the best so take that into consideraton.


Nellie will get you somewhere but no championship. His offensive schemes aren't as good as D'Antoni's.

Maybe I was a little harsh on Nellie but I still think hes overrated. Those Dallas teams were loaded and you had Steve Nash running the PG along with Nick Van Exel. Nobody's offense is going to lose when you have Steve Nash handling the ball most of the time and tell him to be free. Nash was those Mavericks in my mind as well.

I think people forget, and I have posted an entire thread on this...
Steve Nash was just as good then as he is now. The stats will tell you he's better now because he has more opportunites(and D'Antoni was smart enough to realize how to use him),.but his abilities and playmaking were top notch then. Steve Nash was the Mavericks and Nellie let him do his thing to an extent. Nellie and Nash were great for each other but Nash was the reason they won.

Dude, maaaaaaaaaaaaad props to you, HKF. Stephen Jackson has been a blessing--and a curse, at times--for this team. He brings an intensity and a passion that was soooo lacking with Dunleavy.
