Andrei Kerilenko
Whats happen to him this season, he used to be a top 15-20 player, and now he's not even used in the end of playoffs game, is it the Jazz system, or something, and do yall think he's going to be traded this summer?

Intangible injuries.

Re: Andrei Kerilenko
I think injuries initially slowed him down, but I agree that it's a system/position problem. He's really a combo forward who needs to play more power forward than small forward (like Odom). He also needs to handle the ball often to be effective (like Artest, except more of a passer than scorer) and he's not able to do that in Sloan's motion offense. And mental stuff is probably part of it as well.
I think he'll likely be traded in the offseason, but maybe not. Boozer was in the dog house at one point but they didn't trade him and it's worked out beautifully. It's possible a similar resurgence could happen with Kirilenko.
Personally I hope the Jazz decide to deal him. I'd love to have him in Minnesota (how about Davis, McCants and filler?).

Re: Andrei Kerilenko
Ok, let's say the Jazz decides to trade Kirilenko.
If you were the GM, what would you give up in order to acquire Kirilenko?
I still consider him top 5 defensive players in the NBA so expiring contracts and full of craps won't cut it, IMO.
I would probably give up two 1st round pick (future 1st round), a decent youngster (like Delonte West), and a contract to match Kirilenko's. (Theo Ratliff)

I don't know what the hell happened to him, but he needs to stop crying.

You have to remember how stingy GMs are these days though. What you just suggested is better than what the 6ers got for Iverson.
A solid borderline-starter player and a decent young should be enough.

Re: Andrei Kerilenko
I think all that for AK is a bit much, I doubt they'd get even just two firsts and a matching contract.
I could see a youngster and maybe a first, or like the other guy suggested a boarder line-starter and a youngster.

I find this odd. Wasn't he the centerpiece of the offense before Boozer, Okur, and Williams? What happened? Is he not needed anymore?
