Re: Hughest Trade Ever: Shaq for KG
Garnett would think he'd died and gone to heaven.
Shaq would stick his head in the oven.

Wolves will make the playoffs, and Heat will win the east.

Re: Hughest Trade Ever: Shaq for KG
The 'Wolves might make the playoffs just by standing pat, since they're about to add a lottery pick, and Foye and C. Smith should be at least a bit better. Realistically, though, they're a ways away from making any noise in the West, and it's time for them to blow up the ship and rebuild.
Garnett for Shaq would be a lateral move at best for Minnesota. They need to move Garnett now for young talent, picks, and expiring contracts. And anyway, Shaq would probably retire before letting himself be traded to a non-contender.
Garnett and Wade running the court however would be marvelous to behold, though, wouldn't it?

Shaq missing half the season = no playoffs for the Wolves

Re: Hughest Trade Ever: Shaq for KG
I think that this is the Hughest trade ever.
Golden State Warriors traded a 1st round selection to the Washington Wizards and John Starks to the Chicago Bulls, Philadelphia 76ers traded Bruce Bowen to the Chicago Bulls, Larry Hughes and Billy Owens to the Golden State Warrios, Chicago Bulls traded Toni Kukoc to the Philadelphia 76ers.
More Hughes than Shaq for KG.

i cant imagine shaq playing somewhere cold - orlando, la, miami. im sure shaq's agent would have enough power to veto this trade.

I would literally stop watching basketball and just bet on it. Wouldn't even need to watch, the Heat would simply dominate.
