Remember, Cleveland has homecourt in this series.

Re: BBF 07-08 ECR1: (4) Miami Heat vs (5) Cleveland Cavaliers
We match up fairly well with the Cavs, but Lebron always goes crazy against us. Thankfully, Wade normally does the same to them, creating an epic duel. Wade and Lebron normally cancel eachother out, with each getting around 40/8/8 when they play against eachother. I'd personally take our supporting cast over Lebron's so I've got to go with the Heat, but it would be very exciting. This is the series that would've happened had the Bulls won their final game against the Nets last season. I'd go with Heat in 6-7, With a lot of the games coming down to fourth quarter shootouts, where Wade normally bests Lebron. But, by this time next year, Lebron could be averaging 33/8/8, and be the league MVP so there's no way to tell with Wade/Lebron. They have such a high ceiling that this could go either way.

Heat in 5, with all 5 games being down to the wire. Every time these two teams meet, it's always an amazing game. Also, Dorell Wright is going to be our starting SF over Antoine.

I have no idea what the result would be, but I would kill to see this matchup.

Heat in 7. Gotta go for the home team. It would be an awesome series, with very close games. A couple of game would probably become playoff classics.

The series that should've happened last year. I say Heat in 6. Both LeBron and Wade would go off. It'd be an awesome matchup.

I say Heat in 6. Lebron and Wade would offset each other and then Shaq tips the scales in favour of the Heat

Re: BBF 07-08 ECR1: (4) Miami Heat vs (5) Cleveland Cavaliers
I'll say Cavs in 5, possibly 4. But then again I don't think the Heat will get the 4th seed.
Who is going to guard Lebron? Dorell Wright? Shimmy? Penny?
Cleveland will be able to contain Shaq with Z and Gooden, and maybe even put Shaq in foul trouble if Varejao falls in the right direction a couple times. Gibson and Pavlovic will be able to stay with Wade as well. The only way for the Heat to win this series is if Lebron gets injured or Sasha and Varejao ends up in Europe this year.
