The -- Kevin Durant -- Thread
Amidst the Oden injury and several big trades (KG+Allen / Zbo / etc.),, seems lyk theres been very little publicity or ne talk about durant.
so heres a thread about anything durant
the more important reason i made this thread is coz he has his first nba (exhibition) games today, his first ever game against real nba players (not summer league.. guys like araujo dont count..).
so if he plays gud/bad tomoro the "next jordan - oden is bust" // "durant is bust. they shuld ahve taken noah" threads can go in here........
gudbye.

I had my doubts at first, and quite frankly, I still do, but let's just say I have become less doubtful of him. The kid looks good.

Re: The -- Kevin Durant -- Thread
Big scoring numbers, crazy offensive arsenal. Incredible talent, but he's never going to sniff MJ status, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Re: The -- Kevin Durant -- Thread
Should score alot of points...won't do much else this season. Won't be near the rebounder he was in college in the NBA.

Re: The -- Kevin Durant -- Thread
He's going to do well, but not much better than other ROY standouts like Amare and others.

Re: The -- Kevin Durant -- Thread
HOF bound.
It is just extremely rare to see a freshman come so close to leading the entire NCAA is scoring AND rebounding. Add to that his length and the diversity of his skillset, e.g nearly 2 spg and 2 bpg.
Barring injury, he will be runaway ROY, and a perennial all star and MVP candidate.
