Are the Lakers better than the Bulls?
This is not a early season reactionary thread. Last season, before being ravaged by injuries, the Lakers were on a 50+ win pace. Even with the injuries they finished with 42 wins vs. the Bulls 49 wins in a much weaker East.

from yesterday's game, i want to say yes but obviously the lakers need to prove to the rest of the league that they can maintain consistency. The bulls made it deep to in the playoffs last year and they pretty much have the same squad from that team so we'll gonna have to wait and see. so the bulls are better than the lakers right now.

The Lakers are like a team, that sucks on paper but they always manage to play you better then what you would think. Say what you want about Kobe but he keeps his team in it.
The Bulls, in my mind, have been overrated the past two years. They are a strict jumpshooting that can be effective at times, but when it comes down to crunch time, there lack of paint presence hurts them. They have a great young base but they should have traded for KG.

They are pretty even when they are both healthy. The thing with the Lakers is that Odom and Kwame are quite injury prone. With that factored in, the Bulls will be better as the season goes on.

Bulls East, Lakers West.
Bulls are better because of that.
Oh and I was telling everyone, including Laker fans, that the Lakers sucked last year because of injuries, not roster problems. Glad to see people realize that if healthy this is a 50 win team.
