Re: Brendan Wright for Jrich....
My understanding was that this trade was originally suppose to be part of some 3-way trade that would have landed KG in Golden State. Somewhere in there, someone (be it Rod Higgins/Jordan, Mullin, or Kevin McKale, I don't know) who slept on pulling their part of the trigger - don't ask me how that worked out the way it did salary cap wise.
At any rate, Warriors fans will tell you they can't get enough of Wright - thanks to Nellie keeping the kid benched. Maybe Nellie's worried about giving Wright too much shine - last time Nellie gave his star rookie PF a ton of PT @ Golden State, he ended up trading that forward before the next season.

Re: Brendan Wright for Jrich....
Be patient. Nellie has a good track record in developing young phenoms. And it usually involves giving them some pine time early on.

I think the deal GS offered Minny was far better than the one boston did.

Re: Brendan Wright for Jrich....
Mullin thought, well Monta Ellis is on a rookie contract, scoring like a vet, Barnes, Jackson an Pietrus are all on reasonable contracts and are putting up nice numbers....why not keep the team we got, they all play Nellie-ball quite well and be a player in the offseason if the opportunity arises.....thats my thought on why the trade occurred...and they get a very talented rookie who could be the next Jamison? Bosh? or Scalabrine?
