I got the Warriors as sweeping their home games (with the exception of Phoenix) and drubbing Sacramento and Seattle on their way to a 6-1 run heading into a Dec. 9th game at the Lakers. That would make the Warriors 11-8 and the memories of their poor start would be distant.

4 of those home games (Hou, Orl, Mil, & Mia) are the 2nd of back-to-back road games for each visiting club.

Couple that with S-Jax playing his first games at home for the season and the momentum of completing a 4-1 road trip (first winning road trip of 5 games or greater for the W's since the 1980-81 season), and I think a 6-1 record isn't entirely outlandish at all.

Then again, Nellie could end up running Baron into the ground before the end of this 7-game period and the W's are worse off than the team that started the season sans Jackson at 1-6.

Well the seven game swing is over and the Dubs finished 6-1 (should have been 7-0). That means that the team is 10-2 with Jackson since he returned, but he won't get any MVP love I'm sure. I guess I didn't look so stupid when I said they were weathering the storm. This is a playoff team.

Yep. Only loss was to the Magic. Good run for the Warriors so far.
