This is driving me nuts! I can't believe how many videos are being posted on Wade's "travels" that aren't travels. It pisses me off even more because the media is purporting this crap as truth when in fact there was no travel. Notice the rules of 2 and 1/2 steps. As long as he leaps with his pivot foot leaving the ground at the same time as the other foot, it's not a travel. That's the half step that you're allowed.

If he wants to gather and jump off two feet like that, he needs to take a power dribble on the spin, otherwise it's a travel. That's basic post player knowledge. On that spin (first play), he needs to jump off one foot and not let that 2nd foot hit the ground in order for it to not be a travel. But even then it's still a travel because he hops on his pivot foot in both plays which is an automatic travel. But hey it's the NBA, Wade just gets away with it more often.

Yea, I think he travels. He travels more than any other superstar I've seen. Granted I havent seen much of him this year, but I doubt things have changed.
Its like when people used to complain about AI cupping the ball when he dribbled. Or MJ having his own set of rules, like when he kicked Russell in the nuts, threw him to the ground, then hit the game winner. Stars get their own rules. Not that big of a deal.
Those videos did not highlight travels. He did technically travel before his first dribble in the second video though. His pivot foot moves before the dribble goes down.

Lol, it wasn't THAT bad ^_^
On a side note, I think the videos distracted people from voting in the poll, haha.

I saw a video from a different angle and he spit in his eye too. That Jordan, man could he ever play ball, but what a jerk. Spit in the guys eye, wind up, kick him in the nuts, then throw him to the floor? I heard Russell stayed in bed for 2 months after the incident because of bruised emotions.
