Re: Chris Taft
for the other names
NDUBI EBI, that was my boy years back, cause he was so damn tall & skinny like myself coming out of texas. he actually put up good numbers given PT in minnesota, then was signed by Dallas.. and released. Not seen since, probably in Euro leagues?
Qyntel Woods, hyped as the next T-Mac, most recently played for the Knicks like a couple years back, again probably in Euro.
and on DaJuan Wagner, he's working getting healthy, he's all over the place playing with NBA guys in the offseason. i think he might make it back to the league, i really feel bad for what the kid went through.
again, in their draft classes, these 3 guys were some of my favourite players.

Re: Chris Taft
I think when Ebi was still in the league, the twolves wanted to send him to the NBDL and he refused. they ended up cutting him. I think dallas (maybe) picked him up at one point and then waived him.
dajuan wagner...last i heard i think he was playing in poland.

Re: Chris Taft
OK, I need to speak up against Ebi. Played good when the Wolves gave him PT? Is that a joke? They put him in for two games in his final season with the Wolves, 2004-05. Two games. The final two. And yes, he had 18 and 8 against San Antonio...and it was comedy. Look through the annals of NBA history to see who else is allowed PT and puts up numbers in the final game or two of each season. Kevin Garnett and others were in hysterics every time Ebi scored that game. (Tony Massenburg and Sean Marks, by the way, played against him much of the time.) And as for his end with the Wolves, it wasn't that Ebi refused. It was to be his third season. The Wolves asked the league whether they could send him despite a league rule that third-year players cannot be sent down. The league refused. Yes, Ndudi (or Doodie, as I prefer to call him) talked tough in the papers at the time how he'd refuse even if the league permitted it, but give me a break. He was terrible by NBA standards. Terrible. And the past few years have done nothing to change that. What a waste of a pick for Minnesota.

Ummmm.... Nah, that isnt a joke. he did play well when given minutes? i know it was end of season meaningless time for a ****** team, but he still played well against other NBA competition regardless in the 2 games. he played less then 30 minutes in each, put up the 18 on 50% + shooting (9 points in the other), and had 8 rebounds in both games. in the season before that, he played more games but never got more then like 3 minutes, definitely can't develop without PT./ Minnesota never actually gave him a chance at all. BTW Ebi currently playing in Israel.

Re: Chris Taft
Playing in Israel is well and good: I stand by my points. He proved he does not belong in the NBA. Why didn't the Wolves play him? What, they didn't want their first rounder to pan out? They wanted to be a league joke? Ebi is at best a bottom-fringe player if he's in the NBA, and obviously over the past couple years all 30 teams have passed on him. Sure, at 6-9 and being a good athlete, he can be a pro. But he's no NBA player.
