except the guys that are called leaders shoot over 50% from the field.

In the 03-04 postseason, Chauncey Billups shot a 38.5 field goal percentage the year the Detroit Pistons won the NBA Finals. And he had a whopping 5.9 assists per games. Are you telling me Billups was not a leader on that team? Why must their be a double standard for Gilbert Arenas?

Maybe, maybe not. Only thing I know, is the more Gilbert sits on the bench, the more we see Caron showcase his skills.

Doubt it, the Pistons would have beat them. The Cavs have always matched up well with the Pistons, and some Lebron James heroics snagged them a crucial game 5.

So basically the only leaders in the league are big men, Steve Nash, and Tony Parker? Alright, sounds good.
Sorry Kidd, Baron, LeBron, Kobe, and Paul.

They're anomalies. Not a single player had an outstanding personal season. Are you saying that Arenas has never had an oustanding personal season? Because I'd argue that his almost 30ppg last year indicate otherwise. Also, the Pistons won with incredible defense and "exceptional" offense. Gilbo is "exceptional" on the defensive end.
Note: by exceptional I mean "special" and by "special" I mean handicapped.

They also lose their best perimeter defenders like Hughes and Jeffries because teams overpay for their services (see Cleavland and the Knicks).
But with the addition of Randy Ayers, the Wizards were actually playing solid defense. Even Arenas picked up his defensive play...

Maybe it wasn't a few weeks but...
He's already missed 14 games and it doesn't look like he'll be making it back anytime soon. This guy gets hurt just about every season.

Maybe Gilbert's blog should go on the injured list...

Re: Is 'No Gilbert' better for the Wizards?
They're definitely a better team with Caron Butler.Their record since he got hurt is terrible.Arenas is a great individual player, but I don't think he's a great team player. You have him healthy the Wizards are going to be a better regular season team, but I'm not convinced that he can lead you anywhere in the playoffs.
