Re: Will Lebron James play tomorrow?

Cleveland's again getting their butt kicked w/o LeBron tonight. This one's been a blowout from the 2nd qtr onwards. I don't think I've ever seen a team look this sad w/o it's best player. Usually the ones that do suck when their best player goes down aren't even playoff teams to begin with. Think Boston w/o Pierce last season or Orlando w/o T-Mac in 03-04. Those were 25-30 win teams max. But Cleveland's an NBA Finalist w/ LeBron. They've won 50+ games for 2 straight seasons w/ this exact same roster. W/ him this year(9-6) they were on pace for another near-50 win season despite a brutal schedule to start off the season. Yet w/o him this team would clearly struggle to even win 15 games. That's an unbelievable dropoff w/o one player. Has any player ever been this valuable to a team?

It's truly amazing. Mike Brown should be kissing this guy's *** every day he still has a job. He covers up Mike Brown's inabilities on offense so much it's not even funny.

And Varejao (along with every other Cav) should give Lebron a cut of their paycheck. These guys seriously look like scrubs without Lebron spoonfeeding them open jumpers.

Since MVP has a completely mysterious meaning at this point, this stretch of games without Lebron could keep him from winning it (if it prevents them from being able to get 50 wins this season), there really is no doubt in my mind he's truly the most valuable player to his team this year. He runs the offense, scores, and sets the defensive tone. This current team should be ashamed of themselves because they look lost out there.

And Mike Brown has some serious work to do. You should be able to create an offensive gameplan for your team even if your best player is hurt. We're shooting something like 37% AS A TEAM since Lebron got hurt.

It's disgusting. Ferry is to blame for this disaster. Mike Brown is no HOF coach but with the trash he is given to work with what do you expect.

When the camera panned to Lebron on the sideline he looked PISSED

In 3-1/2 games, not a single player has exceeded 50% shooting in a single game on more than 4 field goal attempts.

They scored just 31 points in the second half against Detroit with Lebron out. They averaged 77 points a game in the following 3 games.

Someone posted that on another board. That's pretty embarrasing for Mike Brown/Ferry
From BB's post in the Cavs' game thread.
