I refuse to vote based on the corny nick names.

Re: Josh Howard or Richard Jefferson?
people shouldn't ever use combos of initials as nicknames.. not very thoughtful.
anywaY, new jersey sucks & rich has j.kidd, dallas had 63 wins last year, and it was not all dirk.. he's weak defensively.

Re: Josh Howard or Richard Jefferson?
Good question threadstarter
To keep it short, It's real close, but RJ is a little more dynamic and that's what it comes down to for me.

If you were to offer me 44 million dollars right now, I would offer to give you a ring made out of 3 of my fingers, part of my penis, and any other body part you would like. JO wants to win? Great. If I'd make a penis ring for 44 million dollars, JO would stay in Indy and lose for it as well.

LOL RJ is crazy at defneding. We always put him on the best player on the other team. He sometimes shuts down people.

Re: Josh Howard or Richard Jefferson?
Yeah, anyone assuming that RJ doesn't bring it on the defensive end must be under the weather.

Re: Josh Howard or Richard Jefferson?
Nope RJ is not as good a defender as Josh Howard and he certainly doesnt shut down people. He might be better at other things than Howard, but definitely not defense.
Antoine Wright is the only Nets player that can actually shut down perimeter players

Re: Josh Howard or Richard Jefferson?
Josh Howard doesn't shut down anyone either. He does have some good stretches during games, but he never brings it for 48 minutes, just like his offensive game is on and off.

I agree.
RJ's offensive game is way more polished than Josh Howard's.
Josh Howard is more of an energy guy who's pretty good at everything.
Although I would give Josh Howard the edge as far as the midrange pullup is concerned.
