This was excusable. His tripping Felton was not. I really don't see how anyone can defend Nash in the latter incident.

If you watch it in extra slow motion, you'll see Nash put tobasco sauce on his hand before he hits Telfair in the face. He then proceeds to wipe the tobasco sauce on his hand off on Telfair's jersey while telling him that he should never try and steal the ball from him again.

Meh, that's minor at worst. Nash has been more testy this season, though I've only watched a half dozen games.

it was a lazy lazy attempt at a steal from Nash lazy-borderline-negligent.....in soccer a lazy tackle is definetly a foul, sometimes a yellow card....that was bballs equivalent i believe....

If you have played basketball then any of you would have done something like this. It was sloppy where his hand landed but how are players meant to stop themselves in mid motion, Nash was late to the play but should he have not attempted to steal the ball because he was going to be a couple of mili seconds late (which you wouldn't think about or realise as you head towards the ball). I can't believe people even questioned that play. Sloppy yes, dirty no. You must be mentally challenged if you think it is.

anybody notice a trend here? whenever nash tries to play D, someone gets hurt (mostly him, but lately opponents too...)
