have y'all seen mj in his 30's? with fluid in his creaky knees? he goes out there and compete.

I couldn't read anymore past this point, you sound like a kid with a bunch of mj posters on his wall who sees everything through some mythical glasses. Let me know when you're in touch with reality again. We'll talk, i'll bring biscotti.

it doesnt. but if we're going to keep using the same excuse, then we are simply dimishing other player's will and determination to compete.
by using this, we're pretty much giving lebron a free pass everytime this happens/

Re: lebron's been out too long
wow you guys are silly.
"there are players more important than their respective franchise."
Like who?
Lebron is Cleveland. the cavs need lebron more than the lakers need kobe, heat need wade or shaq, nuggets need melo or ai, spurs need duncan, etc...
I suppose from now on there should be one defenitive injury, if a player has an injury less serious than that definitive injury he should play otherwise he's a big *****.

yea but other greats wouldve played through that. Jordan's a pansy for not playing through that. There are players in the league that would play with two broken legs.

Re: lebron's been out too long
Okay. Explain this to me. Lebron is starting tonight on the bench because Coach Brown wants to send a message that if you are out you have to earn your spot back in. Meanwhile....the Cavs starting backcourt tonight is Shannon Brown and Eric Snow.
Has Mike Brown officially lost it?
You know if the Cavs want to not play Lebron by sitting him out and keeping him as a sixth man, then maybe there are other places where his services might be more desired?
I mean...this is a 0-6 team!
Baffling.

non sense. mike b shoud be fired.
on the otherhand. maybe he knows lebron can play trhough it? but lebron declined? therefore he's showing lebron that "you need to earn it back, from sitting for 5 games for a playable injury"

Re: lebron's been out too long
Mike Brown is the definition of a dumb coach, in my opinion.

either mike brown is carzy, or there is another explanation....he might tell people lebron needs to earn his spot, but i think it might be to reduce lebron's minutes for his first game back...
no way anyone is that crazy...lebron needs to earn his minutes??? that's laughable...
