The only thing Charlotte has that Portland doesn't is a better PG
C- Oden....enough said
PF- Aldridge
SF- Outlaw, Webster, Jones (shooting like 2 gazillion % from 3)
SG Roy
All of those players are either equal, or mostly better than the Bobcats are at those possitions
And one of Sergio, Koponen, Green or even Jack might end uo better or at least as good as Felton
Not to metion Rudy Fernandez is going to come over next season. Portland appears to be pretty stacked

Okafor is our power forward and he's better than Aldridge.Gerald Wallace is better than anyone on the Trailblazers period. We simply don't have a bench by any stretch of the imagination. To be honest Raymond Felton hasn't really outplayed Steve Blake for the most part. He's a very inconsistent player just like he has always been.Oden has to play in the NBA before we can count him as an NBA player.

Okafor is pretty good, but if he is better than Aldridge, it is not by much. He is a better rebounder and better shot blocker - but he does not have the speed, hands or shooting touch of Aldridge. The real problem with Okafor, imho, is that he is a PF/C tweener - while Aldridge might be a better pure PF when all is said and done. Add the fact that Aldridge is younger and longer - and his potential is higher, IMHO, than Emeka's.

At the SF position, you bet. He is, individually, better than what the Blazers currently have - but the SF position of the Blazers overall is better than the Cats (when the bench is included) and Outlaw has all the tools in the world to be as good as if not better than Wallace - he is 2 inches taller, jumps higher and is a better shooter.

I would say that without Oden, the Cats are probably about as good as the Blazers - but the Blazers are younger and have more potential. If Oden reaches even 70% of his potential - this should be a non-contest.

i know, i agree Portland is better. I was just saying why Charlotte isnt better then how they have played so far. Porltand is clearly the better team here tho.

In hindsight, how the hell did Gay slip to 8th, only to get traded away? Shelden Williams and Morrison made no sense where they went. You can make a case about Tyrus too.
