No, Chris Paul is good enough to be compared to Allen Iverson.

Re: Chris Paul or Allen Iverson
We've already seen most of AI's "HALL OF FAME" career. We are just starting to see Chris Paul. They don't really play the same kind of game, but both are obviously great players.
If I need a floor general, i'll take Paul. If I need a dynamic scorer to be the final piece of the puzzle, i'll take AI

Re: Chris Paul or Allen Iverson
Allen Iverson. What kind of question is this.
You may not like the way Iverson plays or maybe you think he's not a "pure" point guard. But you can't deny his effect on the game. He dragged a ****ty Sixers team to the Finals and took a game from the mighty Lakers.
It was only a few years ago that he averaged 33 and 8. Now that's crazy. There is no way that 33 points and 8 assists won't help you win a game.

Chris Paul vs. Allen Iverson....battle of little big men
Who be the best right now?
Who will have the better career?
Its obvious Iverson has had the better career up to this point...will Paul be better?

It all depends on his supporting cast. You need to build something very special to win a ring with a small guard as your #1 guy. Only the Pistons ever managed to do that. The real question is - will CP3 be able to play as long and as effectively as AI did? If there is something that makes AI really stand out is the amount of pounding he took through his career and how resilient he has been.

Re: Chris Paul vs. Allen Iverson....battle of little big men
Ehh, its much easier to build a team around paul... and the sixers never did a really good job of building around Iverson anyways, so I'll be Paul has more success.

Re: Chris Paul vs. Allen Iverson....battle of little big men
I dunno though, former MVP, scoring champ, and leading your team to the finals... that's hard to top. Not that I'm doubting Paul's potential at all, he's a stud and should get MVP consideration already IMO. Hard to say, guess time will tell if Paul can stay healthy and take his game to an even higher level than now.
