every coach Iverson's ever had has tried to play him at PG and every one of them has decided that he works better as a 2.

If, by every coach, you mean Larry Brown and George Karl (or 2 of 8 coaches), then sure. Nonetheless, I agree.

chris paul is the better player. if he replaced iverson on the nugz, they would be as good as the celtics.

Better player or not, I'd have to agree. The Nuggets are in much greater need of a pg than of a sg.

what, you don't think anthony carter can get it done? he did hit a couple game-winners for them...haha.
but good post. you are showing maturity here. I remember some time ago you would've thrown down any anti-AI statements.

Not really, I never though AI was a really good fit for the nuggets.
I'm still bitter he couldn't have gone to Orlando for Hill.

Re: Chris Paul vs. Allen Iverson....battle of little big men
Tough questions. I think it's too early to tell with Paul. If he turns into the next Kevin Johnson, then my money is on Iverson. If he can somehow turn into a legit top 10 alltime PG, then maybe he surpasses Allen.

Ding! Ding! Ding!
We have a winner.
Why is it ridiculous to compare Iverson and Paul?
Its the exact opposite.
By comparing these two players of the roughly the same size, both with great athletic ability and basketball skills, you see the difference between 2 players and see what makes both great.
I would rather have Paul anyday. He is the best PG in the game right now.
He can turn any team/players into something good. I wouldn't say that about Iverson.
People put too much emphasis on scoring. The basketball layman thinks scoring is the ultimate definition of a great basketball player.

Re: Chris Paul vs. Allen Iverson....battle of little big men
If Paul wins one title, he will surpass AI (assuming he will not be able to lead a team to one. He might win one but a la Zo, not Wade).
It doesn't matter if he doesn't win the scoring title or any MVP. He will be contending for MVP for years to come.
