Congrats to the Heat.
Scarily enough only 8 games outside the 8.
35 games to make the 8 in the EAST. If everyone else's current records are to hold up/
Can the Heat go 26-14 to end the season? .650?

Barron is finally respected league wide

The refs still give him little respect.. He's pretty much up there with Yao and Dwight in that regard.

Like most great big men, Shaq and Wilt for example, the league has to adjust the way they officiate games to control such dominant forces. Earl is no exception to this trend.

Re: Heat's Losing Streak Is Over
Props to Wade for still giving it his all every night. I can't imagine too many superstars who would still play at this level when the team is clearly heading to the basement of the NBA.

Re: Heat's Losing Streak Is Over
Would be nice to see you guys put together some sort of win streak here. Between Miami, Chicago and the Nets, I've been confused this year. Its not like the Heat should suck, so it would be nice to see them play to the level everyone thought they'd be playing at before the season began.
With any luck, once you guys put together a good streak I fully expect Shaqs injury to go away, only to show back up when they go on their next losing skid.

We'd really rather just start our next 15 game losing streak immediately..
On a side note, Blount has been playing GREAT recently, and he dunks harder than Shaq now..

I agree. I can understand how a high draft pick right now seems a lot better than fighting for the chance of squeeking into the 8th playoff spot.
I just have a hard time watching a team like the Heat play so terrible. I dont think they're that bad of a team.
